Der Anfang ist sehr gut gestaltet, mit den vielen Abbildungen der versch. Gitarren und deren Entstehung.Es liefert Gitarren-Geschichte.Auch begrüße ich die TABULATUR unter der Notenschrift. Es ist am Anfang eine gute Hilfe die richtigen Bündezu greifen. Mit der Zeit bekommt man dadurch mehr Sicherheit und schnellere Routine.KJL
Das Buch führt didaktisch sinnvoll in das Spiel mit der E-Gitarre ein - und weiter. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich: E-Gitarre, Stimmgerät, Verstärker (und Kabel) und Plektrum und los geht's.Vorangestellt ist etwas Wissenswertes zur E-Gitarre und ihrer Geschichte - sozusagen die Allgemeinbildung zum Instrument. Zu jedem Übungsstück gibt es sehr detaillierte Erläuterungen inkl. Angaben zu den Verstärkereinstellungen. Außerdem sind durchweg Noten und Tabs abgedruckt - m.E. perfekt zum Lernen.Ich selbst nutze das Buch als Ergänzung zum Unterricht - der eher klassisch ausgerichtet ist. Mit diesem Buch kommt man jedoch m.E. "halb-autodidaktisch" sehr weit. Um Fehler in der Haltung etc. zu vermeiden, die später aufwendig abtrainiert werden müssen oder auf Dauer im schlimmsten Fall zu gesundheitlichen Problemen (Rücken, Sehnen etc.) führen können, ist zusätzlich ein Gitarrenlehrer (oder erfahrener Gitarrist, der einem kritisch zur Seite steht) dennoch empfehlenswert.
